Good 2001 Prices

Is $29046.00 a good price for a 2001 L, my 99 has been in the shop for 3 weeks and they have not touched it. I got PO'd and told them I wanted a 2001. They said they would give me 23 for my 99 (w/15347 miles on the clock) and let me have a 01 for $29046.00 what do you guys think. How much would an X or A plan be?

They rebuilt the tranny and have been pissing around on replacing the IC for two and a half weeks now, with the part sitting on the tech's bench. Keeps saying it will be ready tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow. So I go there, standing by my truck in the lot , call the jerk on my cell phone, Service Writer tells me it in the shop now and will be ready to pick up tomorrow afternoon. I tell him BS dude I am standing by it in the lot now!! "OH HOLD ON I'll BE RIGHT OVER THERE" Jerkoff never shows for like 15 minutes. So I go to get with Service Manager, NOT THERE, ask for someone higher up and a guy points out the owner (very nice guy), and I unloaded on him.

Sorry to be ranting here.

Tt

Not a bad deal. The X plan is around $28,500 or so. I would tell them $24k for your truck and they have a deal...if you want the 2001.

Doesn't sound like too bad of deal. Keep in mind the first offer is not always the best offer. SVT counter offer sounds fair for both of you.

Maybe you should call corporate Ford and tell them this story. Take names and kick some ***.
It's what I'd do... I mean, we do own "Ford's Premium Product"

Ditto,

If you do want an 01' then tell them straight, give me $24k for mine and I'll sign the paper work right now. If they say no, either walk out or start compaining about when your 99' is gonna be ready.

they would only give me 18500 for mine. i think that its worth more than that. and if i traded in for a 2001 i could get it on A- plan for 27900.
