Every controversial mod seems to get this same stock answer from this board...
"It's your truck, do what you want."
"If you like it, do it."
etc...
I notice the 22" wheel thread pulled some harsh comments that were mitigated with, "But it's your truck."
Seems like a good philosphy.
I really don't know why I posted this observation - maybe you can tell me what the moral to the story is.

But hey it's your truck is a sugarcoated way of saying I think it looks like crap. Let's face it nobody wants to say that and alienate himself from the rest of the board.

I personally like this thread. It takes a real man to admit that he didn't know why he started his own thread. I think it is alot better than the Whippersnapper thread...or something. My $.02.

I have no feelings whatsoever about this thread, or the opinions expressed therein, nor about what any other Lightning owners may or may not have done to their trucks, including, but not limited to, pink bulldogs on the doors, chickens on the tailgate, flourescent bed liners, spoilers, air horns, signal mirrors, phony ram air hoods, or any other modifications no matter how stupid or tasteless they may be.

Oh sure, write what you want but this thread is illustrative of the devotion and commitment one has for his beloved Lightning and therefore has significant MEANING and impact on fellow members.

22 inches is pretty big so it was probably wheel envy. Remember that size doesn't matter or so thay say. I'm still trying to figure out who THEY are. This is JMO so do what you want or something vague like that.

Have ya ever thought about just not posting here? We all are a pretty tight group of guys and gals,if ya don't like what we say, dial up another board,or start your own..Might wanna title it "ME AND MY OPINION"..A wise old lightning driver said ya learn more by listening than talking,have ya heard that one??????..It's like TV if ya don't like it switch to another channel.
