stupid question.. 4x4 lightning?

it would be a monumental pain in the ****, and almost ruining the truck seeing as how you add a ton of extra weight and stuff like that, but if you gave it air ride suspension for the off road part and had an extra set of wheels and tires laying around, would you do it? obviously we aren't talking monster tires either, just something to take out to your ranch or deer lease ect.

Anything is doable with enough money. If you used a trans/ trans case out of an Expoedtion (4R100) it might simplify the cumputer issues. Probably easier to just convert an existing 97-03 to lightening motor, though.

its alot easier to buy a regular 4x4 f150 and just put a lightning supercharger on it, like many of us have.

Haha yea 3 blocks to be exact. Was gonna build a 5.0 stroker then helped a friend change his engine so he gave me the old one and I got another one from a guy selling me his lightning blower. Didn't have room for his freshly .20 over punched block. Too bad you aren't closer I'd hook you up with a block. Have to start somewhere. Haha
