Could someone please give me a little insite on these. I see alot of people with the fastest 1/4 times have the shifter kits. How much do they go for? How god awfully long would the instalation time be on something like that? As well as a brand name or even better a website.

 

i installed mine friday during lunch took about 45 min and it is 149.00 directly from level 10. Its a lot better because i reburned my chip yesterday without the terrible hard part throttle shift, and the level 10 kit does all the work. definately worth it.

 

I think the line valve mod works as well as the shift kit. Before and after tests show they both do the job effectively, but the accumulator is much easier to install. They work best with a chip tuned of the mod. I think JL sells a Diablo version.

 

the line valve is part of the level 10 kit. in fact, it comes with 2 different ones for choosing the line pressure you want

 

We used to sell the Level 10 shift kits. They were $150 for the kit which includes two valves and three springs. The smaller of the two valves is what is already in the truck, so you must use the larger bore one. I had this kit in our 99.

We now sell complete valve bodies. You get a new casting and the modifications have already been done for you. You just remove your old one and put in the new one. We have this in our 01. Compared to the Level 10 kit, the part throttle shifts are not as violent, which makes for a nicer drivability, but the WOT shifts are how they should be. We sell the complete valve body for $200. Most people would rather spend the extra $50 for a complete valve body as opposed to three springs and a valve, that's why we started selling them.
