alignments after lowering
alignments after lowering
To all those that have been lowered. When you got your L's realigned where did you go? To Ford, a respectable auto place, a tire and rim type store?
And what should I look for when decided the best place to get alignments done?

Not lowered yet. Had my first alignment done at a local alignment shop. Talked to them first. Ask that the truck be aligned to your specs. The Lightning alignment is different from the standard F-150. Ask for a before and after printout.
captainoblivious,
I had two appointments at the dealer where I bought my truck from. The first time I got out of work early to go and they brought in my truck and it sat there for about 2 hours as they talked about it. Before long they told me that they wouldn't have time to finish it if they started on it then. The tech was telling the service manager that the truck was in the weeds and that he didn't think that he could get it with in specs. What a joke, in the weeds? I only have a 3/3 drop on my truck so I think that this tech must have been on drugs or something. They rescheduled me for the following Monday, same deal I took the day off from work and the same talk started, the tech was standing arround and after about an hour and I was getting a little angry, so I went to the service manager and told him to forget it and that I would bring my truck someplace else. I then brought it to a local V.I.P. and they didn't seem to have to much problems. I had already bought my camber kits and had the Herb washers to fix the clunk.
I was at the track last night and I can say that the One Lap Truck is in the weeds, I measured from the ground to the top of his fender lip and it was 27" even. Now that is low, My truck is 30 1/4" so his truck sit more than 3" lower than mine does and looks bad *** doing it. I took some pics of his truck at the track last night so I will send them to you.
