Lightning Soup for Dummies

I was thinking how cool it would be if a couple of "Bolt Heads" got together and wrote a book. Covering Gen 1 and Gen 2's from all the angles with pics and interviews with owners, J. Colletti and the SVTeam.

What do you think? Has it been done already?

Well, I suppose that I could write a book about all things Lightning if I had the spare time and somebody wanted to fund the job of it being an actual published book. Lord knows I've written enough stuff on these trucks over the past 8 years to fill a book . I also have access to many of the people involved, and I could include Fords version of the stories as well as the actually versions of them. I could also include all the differences between the years, as well as spotlight some of the more famous trucks. Could be pretty neat :-).

Anyone out there own a publishing company?

Thumbs up

Sound like a cool idea if someone could put it together.

Of all the things I don't know much about, getting a book published is one of them.

Catchy title though. Dontcha think?

I wonder what the break even point would be?

10,000 books at what, $29.95? 10K@$29.95=$299,500.

Could we sell 10,000 books? Total number of Gen1's sold=?
Total number of Gen 2's sold? Total number that have been resold once/twice? Total number to be sold in the near future?
How many???

Hmmmmm.
