Thumbs up Second gear scratch......thanks Sal and Spiro!

Man I got to give it up for Sal and Spiro and PSP. My truck is really waking up. I installed the chip and filter the other day and have not really driven it too much. But I just got back from a run to the store and I was at a light and some guys in an older chevy were checking out the L and so I thought lets try out that chip.

I jump on it from idle (no revs) and I get some wheel spin, maybe like 10 feet, My truck has never spun off the line. It is screaming up to like 40-45 mph when It shifts and I get a nice little screach out of her. I like it!!!!!!!

I then backed out of it and the guys cruise up by me and thumbs up and smiles from all.

I have to say that my truck has never ran this good and has never given any wheel spin other than a very slight chirp on take off.

Sal and Spiro Thanks, One question, I have the 4 way and it has a stock program with better shifts, a street program, a race program and antitheft.

Is it ok to run around mostly in the street mode or would it be better in the stock mode and switch when I am out on the prowl.

Any opinions on that?

Also, what octane should I shoot for with the race program. I know that Spiro said half 93 and half 100, so does that make the total octane around 97 or what?

Any opinions on that one?

One more and I am done, I now have a whistle when I take off it started after the air filter install. Is this normal, I am thinking it is, but I do not want to have some air leak somewhere and cause some problem. I appreciate anyones responses to these questions.

And I have to give it up one more time for Sal and Spiro
Thanks PSP

I have to go now and smoke someone.

Paul
