Thumbs up Saying good bye to the 13's

Well here are the results, I made two runs last night at New England Drag Way and they were back to back 12.828's at 108mph now that is consistant. All done on my F1's, pump gas, and on my street program. Last week I ran the truck at E-town and ran a 12.777 and a 12.843 so that make four runs in a row at different tracks and a week apart. I hope things keep getting better.

Good runs. Said goodbye to the thirteens last nite also. Went to Milan while in the area on vacation. Put the lower pulley on last Friday and could definitely feel the S-O-T-P's difference. Ran 2 13.0's and put some ice in my chiller and ran a hot 12.95 and a cooled down 12.88 with the slicks breaking loose(1.9's) on both runs. Also thanks to the silver "L" on 18 Mile with the "MI MADE" plates, nice run. Have to update my sig I guess. Am on a horribly internet challenged setup, NetZero on a P5-100 with a 28.8 modem. Can't wait to get back to my cable and catch up.

I just took my wife for a ride with the chip on street mode and it hit second on a slight turn and the rearend wanted to come around a little and she said "woooooow". I love this truck.

You are the man.

Bill, how did you do THAT?

Run in the 12s on F1s?

I ran 18 passes last nite and couldn't get below a 13.593 @ 102.88. I had the torque/power! But, I had wheel spin on almost every pass. Tail gate down or up, psi at 27 cold or 29 cold, ease into it--I tried every thing I could think of--to no avail.

Others(no Ls but me) were spinning too, but none I saw as bad as me. The tires have 5900 miles on them and I rotated them at 3000.

Please, anybody help!

Thanks,

Dan

LIGHTNINROD:
I have been running in the 1.9's on the 60' times, nothing special I now of other people doing better on the F1's. I would say to try dropping your air pressure down to about 20 to 22 in that area has seemed to work best for me. I hope this helps you.

pgio, RPurdy3523, Thanks guys

4D THNDR:
Great runs, glad to have you with me in the 12's, The more Lightning in the 12's the better. Hopefully I will be saying, The more Lightning in the 11's the better.

This might sound backwards, but ..... make your air pressure 32-35 in the rear and just pull past the water box and power brake it for about 2secs.. dont smoke em.. just put a little heat in them..... try that... Mine was running 1.9 60ft's with a very hot and greasy track.... these new F1's hook up at normal air pressure.. any less and they sit on the sidewalls and spin.... trust me.. try it , you will like it............ Congrats on the more consistant 12's. Bring some of that northern air back down with you. So, you have the pulley and slicks now, I'll never catch up. Sounds like you are enjoying the vacation (especially when you can go racing). Catch up with ya when you return.

Maybe if you let your truck cool down a llittle bit.....JEEZ 18 runs. Easing into the throttle helps too.

Yeah T-bone, the cooler air definitely helps(70's) and I'd love to bring some back for the Norfolk Rally but my hitch is removed so I haven't got any way to drag that big high pressure cell back with me although I wish I could. Would work great at sea level.
