What mods did you buy and wish you hadn't and why?

Which mods did you buy and replaced with another brand?

I have a couple-
The JL ram-air for Pro-M meters. It caused turbulence at the sesor in my Pro-M mass-air resulting in surging idle and check engine lights. When going from a cruise to a stop, the engine would try to keep 1200 or so rpm for several seconds after stopping.
On that subject, the Pro-M meter itself. I replaced it with the 90mm '01 unit and got rid of many occasional problems such as surging idle, lean errors, and occasional fluttering at cruise. It also got rid of a problem of hitting the rev-limiter just before the 1-2 shift in cool weather. Now I have the ram-air working without a problem, but I modified it to not blow directly through the end of the filter at the meter. This may not be necessary with the factory meter, but it works so I'll leave it as is.

Somtimes I regret getting my sportsmaster tonneau cover.

I wish I had a fiberglass lid so I could lock it and not have to worry about keeping stuff back there.

But then when I have to go and get big stuff I like being able to roll up the soft cover and throw the big junk in there.
