Red face Just ordered Hotchkis lowering springs for my '01 from summit, cost $439.00!!

well I guess that the thread subject/title pretty much says it all, but I just ordered my front 1" drop hotchkis coils and my rear 2" drop hotchkis leafs from summit racing.

Hotchkis lists the prices as 173.00 front coils and 316.00 rear leafs for a total of $490, but I got them for like $439.00 plus shipping was total of $447.43. can't wait to get them, they don't have them in stock so he said I'd have a one week wait.

BTW, Hotchkiss now lists thier upgraded swaybars for lowered L's on their website. I think they were kind of pricey though, something like 500+ per axle if I remember correctly. check it out at www.hotchkis.net

later,
chris

Thanks for the info Chris, I'm currently trying to work a deal on a roush kit but if that falls through I'm all over that Hotchkis kit.

I think I'm going straight for the Hotchkis front and rear springs. The Roush kit seems good, but I'd like to see some pics of what is inlcuded, and some more convinced that it's worth all that money. Since it's dealer installed does the Roush void any warrenties or does it have a factory warrenty on it?

As far as I know , if you have a roush authorized dealer install the kit your warranty will be ok but finding one is another story. The closest one to me (that I know of) is in Miami and I'm not driving all the way down there when I can do it myself or have a local shop do it. The Roush kit comes with all the springs and new Blisten shocks, I don't think it's worth $1500 bucks but that's why I'm trying to buy my kit off someone for cheaper.

Since your in Fl. have you consider the steeda *cough* Belltech *cough* kit?

I think I have a Roush dealership near me. Anyway I've heard different prices on the roush kit, anywhere from $900 for the kit to $1800 installed.
