Ok, have you had this happen????

Tonite I ran my L at the local drag strip.I ran my best time of 12.75 @ 104.26 mph, which is my very best time. On consequent runs I had a 12.90 and a 12.96,then let her cool down. On run #4 I launched strong the truck was sliding a bit sideways,it got ready for the 1-2 shift and bogged down hit the rev limiter and picked back up and shifted normally. Thinking the tranny was shot I ran again to test the truck,it reacted the very same way.I still had power and could move but the 1-2 shift was screwed up again. Well thinking that I had blown the tranny I packed up and headed home, still had my street slicks on. I had to try it again, so I stopped got it up to about 1800rpm's and floored it, it took off and shifted perfectly. I repeated this two more times and it shifted perfectly. First of all have any of you had this happen before??? Secondly did I just bog down at the track???

I've gone thru the tranmission thing before, this seems different, was it the weather, about 80 degrees,or was I hitting a slick spot on the track, it happened twice on the same side of the track, never happened on the other side???
Any Ideas??????

BOGGING

for what its worth:

Under severe launches I have expereinced a "bog". For me it was due to lack of fuel in the tank, and under load the pumps were pumping air. Hope this helps

Sounds like you had a boost dump/loss. Some have had this happen after installing chips. I'm not saying that is contributing to your situation though.
