I share this concern as well but see MRBBQMAN was able to pull up a post back to 1/15/2000. Part of his Field Marshall status..or something?

We know they're out there guys...beckoning to be searched and read by all "newbies." ok, ok, wishful thinking. I use them for reference material.

Steve?
Doug?

Much thanks

If searches on this forum won't go back under "ANY DATE" back at least two years, then the search function is worthless. Putting all the old post somewhere where noone can find them and segregating them from current string explains partially why we are getting nothing but the same old questions over and over. There hasn't been anything new here since the o1 came out. just the same already ansewered questions, over and over and over. Steve must be trying to sell the site or advertising based on hits or post. I'm tired of it. If all the good stuff posted in 99 and 00 is gone, or not available in a general search and if the FAQ is gone that really sucks. It means we are doomed to a platora of repetitive postmortums.

Cool The FAQ is there

There is a link to the FAQ in the announcement. Many of the links are broken and fixing them is on my TO DO list. But I am waiting for Steve to get the board settled. Steve and I need to figure out how to link the threads you guys selected as important in the FAQ to link back to the original threads now that the folder structure has changed

All the threads that were in the archives are back in this main forum now. I just pulled a 1999 thread up in a search.

Doug

OK, I see the nightmare. Some of the pics have also died because of zing. My pics on the maf install died but I went up and saved the pics so if you want I can load them up and relink them at a later date.

I will be moving the FAQ to SVTLightnings.com as well after updating all the links. My hope is to combine the links to the Board with pictures and content all together. I will be asking for updates and contributions once things start coming together.

Website for sale: $50 or best offer. Interesting trades considered.

Thumbs up

Steve--I imagine it's been frustrating but the new format is kick ***. Excellent site, and thanks for doing a great job running it. You too, Doug. And by the way, the 4th of July format was awesome. I picked up on it as soon as I logged on that morning. Some people are just plain slow and some just plain like to complain.
