Question Do you Have what it takes

....for fuel supply that is I know many of you are feeling more confident in running nitrous oxide. But BEWARE I started running out of fuel volume right from launch and well into second gear.
After testing with my mechanical fuel pressure guage, we discovered that I was in big need for more fuel. We actually watched my fuel pressure drop from 40 down to 25 psi. On the juice Not a good thing to stay on the gas, but I felt confident with the PSP program.

So here we are, needing more fuel. And thanks to Sal we now have twin 255 lph fuel pumps.

I think this Fuel pump assembly will handle all that I can throw at her, and then some.

Pictured above is an OEM Lightning fuel pump assembly with larger pumps.

Jeff,
You will not need an upgrade for anything up to a 100 shot. But I HIGHLY recommend larger pumps with anything over 150+ shot.
Just be sure to change that fuel filter

Sprio:

Are those pumps the same as the ones for the Mustang (I hope, I hope).

Please give us some info on how they went in.

But you might not want to give up those trade secrets if Sal plans on selling them You know, keep it hush, hush

lightning Jeff:

My pump went out when I fisrt got the truck!!

The day I drove it home, the pump(s) went out with only 100 miles on the truck!!

Me and my L had a very rocky start to our relationship

UPGRADE

Guys, it's a simple upgrade. Same pumps found on the 87-93 Stangs and newer. In this month's RACE PAGES, I have seen the 255lph pumps as low as 90 bucks

Luckily Sal had a pair left over from his Gen I, and was kind enough to supply me with them. Thanks Sal

I feel the fuel lines will be fine, but I do worry about the fuel rails.
