I was planning on getting a set of Diamond Audio Hex S600a and S500a component speakers and run them off of the new Pioneer DEH-P930 or DEH-P9300 head unit which puts out 22 watts RMS and 50 max into 4 channels. Now everyone tells me that this is not enough power for these speakers and that it will sound like crap. I wanted to know if any of you have used these speakers and how you ran them and what they sounded like. Also have anyone used the Infinity Kappa Perfect 12 inch sub. I wanted to also get one and run it in a sealed box with a Pioneer PRS-X702 amp.

 

I've used the same componenet set with an Orion Extreme 450 and wasn't really impressed with the sound quality. Used two channels at 50 watts each for the components and the rear two channels for orion subs.
