Rear window leaking

Hey, I'm drivin to work this morning. No rain just morning dew. I get up to speed and a few drips from the back of the headliner onto the pass-side headrest. WTF !

I'm thinkin it's the rear window. Does it bolt in from the inside or can I remove the glass from outside to reseal it. I'd just hate to remove all the trim from the inside. Please help!! -Jim

I have the same problem. Usually only drips when I go around a turn. I talked to a window shop and they didn't know and said it would cost a bunch of money for them to take it all apart and investigate. I'm passing on that. Hopefully someone here can help.

The leak was a common problem in the earlier Lightnings. There was a tsb and if the customer complained they got the new seal.

Mine was replaced under warranty. Not sure what the cost is for a new seal, but it does require window out and back in.

It looks very different and has a rubber lip that goes around the body to trim side.

Thanks guys!
funny thing is that we just had this major thunderstorm with huge down pours and nothing. Lately I've been running my finger at the edge of the headliner daily with negative water. This just happened once. If it happens again and I have to remove the glass, I will just replace it with a solid window (no slider). My truck is getting old being a daily driver but I love it and it loves me. It burns gas like crazy but never left me stranded. I can't replace it with anything.
