problem with lighting can someone help!!!

problem with lighting can someone help!!!

i have a 1999 lighting the problem im having is that the truck is not responding how it should as soon as the truck starts up seems to be right on point but a few min. after shes starts to idle bad and when hit the gas she chokes and back fires and she just stalls out and it gets hard to keep her on all i have done is check the mass air flow sensor got a new and she has no codes...can some one help me !!!!

Vacuum leak someplace; clogged fuel filter; fuel pump(s) inoperative or in-tank lines disconnected.

but would that cause the truck to back fire when the gas is floored?

Vac leak can throw off your timing, for sure. Check the three connections under the accordian intake tube (before the throttle body) and the one that runs on passenger side down behind the engine (behind the supercharger). It's a bitch to see, but often gets disconnected or a hole develops. I would also go to www.lightningrodder.com and ask there.

well im gonna go back to the shop tomorrow and give it a closer look i really just want to thankyou for talking the time and giving me the help i most def. will look at that website u posted on here but if anything ill let u know how i made out thankx !!!diego
