Cool I have Traction

Finally got them on, if the weather holds up will be able to tell you how they work. I figure they are also good insurance against driveshaft binding and failure.

hey Bill
They are the PSP Caltracs, they cost about $360.00 if I remember correctly. You heading to the track tonight?

By the way I put the stock fan back in, I was having a little problems getting the high speed part to kick in, I will be putting it back soon when I have more time to figure it out, but I got the chip reburned for the breather cap, and have some new plugs goin in soon.

Don, I guess I will not be there, I am headed down to Jersey in the morning so I have to get up real early. Plus Michelle wants to spend the night home together where I will be gone for a couple of days. I have my 22's comming some time next week they should look real cool and I will be at the track next Wednesday and I hope we will both be in the 12's by then. If you go tonight let me know if you break into the twelves. If the rain hold out you should have a real good chance at it where it will be nice and cool. Good luck and I will see you at the drags next Wed.

Question

Hey Don, Am considering getting a set. I read somewhere that the bars need to be adjusted between street and drag settings. Have you driven with them on the street? Any noticeable change in street driving? Hope to meet up with the NE crowd soon!
Thanks

hi BOSTONL
On the street I don't really notice any differance, except on large bumps you can hear them banging a little. What I do is just take the rear bolt out, and unscrew the black bar. It takes about five minutes to put them back on or to take them off. This way I don't hear any noises.

The hardest part when do the install is pressing out the front rubber bushing in the leaf spring, becides that they go together pritty easy.
