Any luck using X plan purchase?

I have called god knows how many svt dealerships
and NONE of them will honor the x-plan on a Lightning!!! Has anyone had any luck with this? My local dealership just
got in a red and black one today. I just hate to spend that
much knowing I could get it for less. (sticker is 32,610.)
Any dealerships accept the x plan in your area or am I sol?!!

I got mine on the X-Plan here in Michigan. Not much help to someone in Texas, unless you want to go on a road trip.

RJ- you lucky dog!! Im almost willing to go out of state
if it saves me enough $$$. If ya dont mind my asking, roughly
how much did it save you? The reason I even started this thread
is because a silver 01 just showed up in the parking lot at work last week with tennessee dealer tags on it!! I think the name of the dealership there was crown. I just havent figured out who is driving it yet. (we have 1300 employees at the plant) Maybe he
or someone on this board knows something the rest of us dont.

Keep trying. I emailed over 20 dealers looking for an X-Plan deal and finally found one close to home.

Got mine on the X in Cincinnati, OH for $28,918.24
If you are willing to drive out of state I'm sure you could get it somewhere (elsewhere in state too, I'm sure).

Later,
Roger

Cavalier Ford in Chesapeake VA will do X-plan. 757-424-1111, ask for John Clark. There is a red one on the showroom floor.

Bought mine at Jerry Duncan Ford in Harriman, TN on X-plan. 1-800-803-8883. Ask for John Hightower. Last I heard they still had 2 reds, 1 black, and 1 silver.

Hey Skank Dog,

While not X-plan, I was able to get mine for $2000 off sticker in northern Texas. The dealership still may have allocation. Let me know if you're interested.

The dealer here in Baton Rouge will allow X plan. It will save you approx. 3300 from sticker. Email me at mac3307@yahoo.com if you are interested. I'll put you in touch with the right person. Good luck!!!

Travel to another state to save $4000. Are you kidding, I would walk/hike/greyhound bus to save 4 G's. I paid sticker here in Jersey. And I bought my 99 from the same dealer, so they knocked off the $3000 'market surcharge'.

The X-Plan price is $28,918.24 should be the same anywhere they will do it. It's 4% over the Ford employee's a-plan price and that makes it just over dealer invoice, or so I've been told.

I got family here from Tyler this week, Too bad we couldn't trailer one back for ya.. . :-)

Is there a SVT Dealer there? I didn't think Whites was a SVT Dealership.

I had trouble getting my Harley Davison F150 with A Plan too. I finally e-mailed a bunch of dealers a form letter asking whether they accept A Plan, and made sure that other dealers' e-mail addresses were plainly visible in CC: field. Maybe that motivated a couple of them, because I immediately got positive answers.

T Bone-Hey!! Who's your family? I may know them! email-studduck66@aol.com
Whites sold out, so now its Fairway Ford and they are
NOT an svt dealer. Mcgilvrey in Athens is an svt dealer.
Its about 30 miles from Tyler. They have a red, black, and white
in stock they just got in last week. They also have a used 00
with 7,000 miles on it for 28,000. But Ive got to have an 01

Thanks to all of you for the replies! Im still hammering Dallas
dealerships before I give up and go out os state.
