T-Bone Nice Gran Torino Sport, I bought a 1973 Gran Torino Sport in 73. The only options I didn't order where power windows and the magnetic seat release's. Your picture brought back fond memories. The car had an untimely death that ended with 160 ft of skid marks before center punching a light pole! Got to luv them big cars. I got a 75 LTD now to go with the Lightning

Gang:

The Mercedes G-class (only available loaded, and with the 5-liter V8 in the US - I've seen G320's with cloth in South America) will be selling at right around $75,000 out the door. Still VERY steep, but a far cry from 115 bills. That sort of money will get you a V12 600SL.

Bob:

A couple million clams of umbrella insurance will cost you a lot less than that - figure a couple hundred dollars. Highly recommended for all you street racers out there, although you may not be covered if the incident occurs during the commission of a felony (eyewitnesses are a BIG minus, as far as that goes). Race at night, way out in the boonies.

Thanks Fast Gator,

It has been a fun car to drive, But I think the lightning gets as many looks as it does when I am crusing the streets. I have some work to do on it to get it in the condition that I would like it in, but it was restore the Torino or buy the Lighning. Well you see what won out...

Talking

I think that GMC is making some of the ugliest SUVs ever...that aztek is aweful....and man even the escalade looks ugly. You would think a 6 year old could design better looking cars.

Well good news for you G Wagon fans! I saw the production and release dates for the 2002 US Mercedes line up. (Don't ask me how, I'd have to shoot you)

The G500 (G Wagon
Production startup 9/30/01
Liturature target date 9/15/01
Whsl/Rtl release date 11/30/01

You should be able to get you name on a waiting list for your very own!

The ML500 gets a new engine along with the M class facelift(release 8/13/01)
And the CLK55 AMG Cabrio and SLK32 AMG have released!

There's also a few new C class models like a wagon, coupe and the C32 AMG.
