i had a couple of sub .500 fri night and a friend said that i red-lighted, but i recieved a time slip ea. time?

and then tonight i'm reading the current issue of mm&ffs mag with all the Ls and their times and there were some sub .500 r/ts printed in it?

Depends if you are running Sportsman tree or Pro Tree.

Sportsman the Yellows go one after the other .500 apart and anything less than .500 is a red light. Since the time starts when the last yellow lights. If you hit .499 you left .001 before the green lit.

Pro tree all 3 yellows light at once and .400 later the green. So .399 or lower is red light.

Most tracks will give you a time so you know what you ran even if you red light. You lost but you can see the numbers to adjust for next run.

Hope this hleps

Doug

Trust me a .498 lite on a .5 tree is a loser. I've cut four of them in the last month.

You will still get a time slip though.
