Those srt-8 cherokees are sooooo fast. Its amazing what a cherokee plus a 5.7 and some suede inserts in the seats will do . Wish I had the cash flow to pick up a lightning.

if you didn't remove the eaton and midplate then you didn't clean the i/c core

and there'sa good chance you have a ported eaton on a stock pullied truck which is why isn't as torquey

so your crank pulley looks like the one on the left??

Just so you know the SRT8 had a 6.1 not a 5.7 the 6.1 pushed 415horses (in the jeep, 425 on dodge and chrysler vehicles) why the 5.7 was what like 370? And the 2012 SRT8 is supposed to have a 6.4 pushing 500 horses/lbs. trq

You are right! Thats my bad.. I was talking about the SRT8 cherokee but mixed that up with a ss trail blazer somehow. At the time I was typing that I was thinking about the race between the ss trail blazer and the SRT8 jeep and the trail blazer got smoked.

A manager at the dealership I work at owns a black SRT8 cherokee. He has put a little money into the engine, but he keeps blowing torque converters.

Hah whatever.. they both ARENT fords. Plus they both start with a C. And obama has his part in both also. See where the underlying confusion could occur
