..have I had a vehicle that ran so bad because of a misfire. There is no such thing as 'THINKING' you may have a misfiring cylinder in a Lightning. My Grand National doesn't run 1/4 as bad with a misfire and its a V6...A V 6!!! I just changed the number 3 coil today and I now have a new truck.

 

Misfires would get my vote as number 1 problem on triton/modular motors

 

Supposedly it is death to the coils to hose off the motors so beware...

 

Most of the problems the L had in early years were the coilpacs they,were upgraded later years.
