Boost Actuator unplug= more boost?

Boost Actuator unplug= more boost?

i was reading some things on the forms that said if you unplug the boost actuator you will get more boost...is this a safe thing to do or not?

ok well then why do some people unplug it and say it useless

Just get a pulley kit if you want more boost, lol.

It is not the boost actuator that gets unplugged. The actuator is real important to keep fubnctioning properly. You are refering to the boost dump solenoid. The "boost bypass mod" and unplugging the boost bypass solenoid accomplish the same thing. Neither adds performance or boost. It just ensures the boost dump does not open when you are racing. Most have that turned off in the tune nowadays anyway.
