Exclamation Intermittant Power Loss

Newb here looking for possible answers.
I have a 02 L that is for the most part stock and have only owned it for about 3 months now. I hadn't really gotten my foot into it a whole lot and not for long periods of time (i.e. drag strip, interstate, etc). I decided to run it at the strip a week or so ago and after hitting the burnout box my truck had what felt like a serious misfire and ran terribly. I shook it off b/c she didn't continue to do so but today I had it out and got into it just a bit in front of my house and the same thing happened, ran terrible at the stop sign so I shut it off, started it back up and it was a little better but aftera minute or two of normal driving it went back to running smooth???? There is no MIL or CHECK ENGINE, I'm lost so hopefully you guys can help me out. Thanks.

My trucks been doing this same thing for i guess about 3 weeks now. Actually when it first started doing it, it did it for about a week. I can't remember i eitehr put like maybe chevron or stp fuel injector cleaner in. It stopped for about a week. Then it started again, I have a check engine on but its for other stuff having to do with my longtubes. I had no code when it started doing it before i put the LT's on. Its something to do with the fuel delivery im pretty sure. i just haven't had the time to do anything about it yet. I put more of the injector cleaner in, but its still there now. Next i'm changing out the fuel filter. Just gotta hit all the small (cheap fixes)stuff before i go putting in new injectors in or whatever.

I think it sounds the same as the problem your having. Like fuel isn't gettin to the engine for a second. It's pretty rough. No CEL or codes for anything like that, i checked them with my programmer. And it does it pretty much just when im accelerating pretty good or raising hell.
I'M ALSO KINDA CURIOUS IF ANYONE HAS HAD THIS PROBLEM AND WHAT IT WAS. MIGHT COULD SAVE ME SOME WORK. Im hoping a clogged fuel filter maybe, but i have a feeling it might be an injector?

I was thinking the fuel/spark as well. Injector failure should throw an MIL or CEL though. I just got my Solus back from Snap-On so hopefully I'll get time to do some live data and freeze frames to see if I find anything. All help is appreciated. Thanks.

Might want to try a fuel pressure test after that new filter.

Well i changed my filter...man that was the orginal 13y/o! Anyway i waited about 15-20 minutes for it to depressurize. I started taking it off. got the "in" side off took about 2 minutes. Started on the other side and all of the sudden it decided to depressurize...lol. That Sucked! lol Anyway it def runs better but it still wasn't the cause, i didn't think it was tho. You can call it wishful thinking. Anyway i took it to a mechanic that i trust. He hooked his super big/expenisve DTC thing. We drove down teh road with it. It's not serious enough to throw a code i guess, but i have a cylinder #1 misfire. We got to looking at my plugs/wires and he noticed they were still the original 1997 plugs/wires. 13 years old and 110k. I hope this will fix it when i get around to it.

I have a moto blue 9.75 lower pulley, CAI, cat-back and CincySpeed SCT tune. Dunno when the last time plugs were changed but I got some TR6's and plan to test my COP's this weekend. Last weekend was tranny rebuild and fuel system cleaning/filter. Haven't ran the truck yet but I'm rollin with the wishful thinking thing. thanks for all the tips/thoughts guys.

Tuned it, fuel pressure is good, new plugs and tested COP's... Still doing the same thing. WOT it feels like its cutting out and continues to do so for about 30 seconds then, goes back to "normal".... Frusterating

So I put the Solus on it and ran KOEO self-test as well as a KOER self-test. I found 2 issues but neither significant enough to throw the CEL. First was a P0602 Vehichle ID block, sencond being a P1288 CHT sensor malf. After reading up a bit on CHT malf drivability symptoms, I found that the temp sensor malf can cause the PCM to cut up to 4cylinder at a time until desired temperature readings are reached, and if severe enough can shut it down all together. Diagnosis and repair consists of checking v-ref at the sensor, inspecting the sensors wiring harness and ultimately either replacing the sensor, repairing damaged wiring, or replacing the PCM. I'm starting with the sensor as I found no issues in wiring. I'll let you know what I find...

Switch the hi low fuel relay and check your intercooler pump and connections. One last thing is to check your alternator output under load, any voltage drop would cause spark misfire.
