My father-in-law had an '01 Lightning that he had sprayed with green 'ghost' flames on the front quarters and a green lightning bolt on the tailgate that matched his custom bike. It was traded-in to a Denver-based dealer in 2005 and he thinks it was sold to someone from Kansas.

He's eye-balling my '01 and I told him I'd see if I could find his old truck...does anyone on here have or know anyone who had/has this truck?

Only picture he had was from the rear and it's 'old school' film...with a print and everything even. No digital going on in his house.

 

if you still have the vin number do a search through an insurance data base to see where it was last registered, and to whom

its not a website, go talk to your insurance agent and see if they could do a favor for you. Ive heard tow truck drivers also have access to the national database as well.

 

I have an 01 Flamed Lightning... I think.
