Boost gauge stopped working

Hi All.
Has anyone had a boost gauge just quit for no apparent reason? I am having trouble with the IAC ,and will replace this weekend. I noticed the boost gauge stopped on my way home tonight.

check the vacuum lines, good chance one split...

I bought a used boost gauge that only reads up to 8psi (but is a 30psi gauge) the seller wont fix the gauge, very pissed over that.
