MAF issues

I own a 2001 L with, upgraded plenum, 90mm single blade throttle body, CAI K/N, Full exhaust with long tubes, 5 lb pully, predator tuner, AR94 plugs. my question is i recently bought a JET MAF and no matter where i had my fuel sitting i was rich as hell. looked like a diesel goin down the road, after putting the stock maf im lookin for a new maf. which would you guys recommend. if i sound retarded this is my first domestic and lightning at that, sorry all help would be appreciated.

are your running the canned diablo tubne???

if you are then they are known to run rich like that, I would get rid of the jet MAF and run a MAFia (it's a MAF extender from diablo) it will run hand in hand with your tuning device

and if possible get it custom tuned via email or tuned on a dyno


also have you added a valve body to the trans yet????

thank you, im not sure by what you mean canned however if you right out the box and no updates then yes. i have not done the valve body on the tranny either. where would i go to get the tune sent email wise? i know it sounds like i dont jknow anything about what im doin and to a point this is true. but to be honest when i bought the truck the owner already started to mod it and we are finding out little things that has been done and honestly jumped in head first eyes closed hopeing i could just ask if i ran into trouble. if you have any advice please feel free to help anything would be very much appreciated. and once aagain thank you.

that's exactly what I meant by canned tunes. it's just a genaric term for a genaric tune

I use SCT but I'l look around and see what I can get for you as far as diablo tuners


there is only one way to learn and that's to ask and hope you get the correct info

You need to get on a Dyno and get some data logging done to see where your at. This will tell you if you maxing your MAF. You can have the data emailed to the tuner of your choice and have him email your tune back. You then download it into your handheld then download it through you OBDII port into you computer. Very simple I have done it a few times. It seems more complicated than it is.
