A guy on a British Forum has bought a Lightning ..



He says it's got the 5.4 in it with Eaton charger?

Did they produce a 5.4 in this truck? I thought it was only the 4.6 with Whipple charger?

Dont wanna question him about it without talking to the experts first.

Dont know the model year.

 

I'm not an expert, but I thought they were all 5.4s.

 

Ah well you know more than me ..

Where did I get 4.6 from then?

 

All 2nd gen L's have a sc (eaton) 5.4
Or should I say all stock ones. LOL

Anyhow I directed the guy over here ..

 

All Gen 2 lightnings came with the 5.4 and eaton.
The svt cobras came with the 4.6 and the eaton.

that is an 03 or 04, check the vin number, the 10th digit should be the year model number.
