what oil do i get if im going to purchse royal purple? mobil1?

please let me know as i am new to this stuff! thanks!

What year is your truck? Mine is a 2007 5.4. I use 5W20 Mobil 1.

 

pretty much any 5w30 oil, if changed often it doesn't matter much on brand, they still have to meet standards

 

I used royal purple in mine the when i changed it last. I normally use amsoil in all my vehicles because of the extra protection and advanced technology. I know a lot of guys dont' trust it extendend milage that amsoil claims but i ran amsoil in my FI Infiniti G35 for 10k intervals with filter changes at 5 with no problems. My next and all future changes will be with Amsoil. Try it and youll never go to anything else. Its worth the extra price
