i have 2 f150 lightning one i took out the honey comb from the exhaust pipe and it backfires and slows on acceleration. where can i buy a replacement?


Secondly i have a f150 lightning engine in a harley dadivson f150 it is giving black smoke and back fires. i did a sensor scan all are ok can it be the cpu?

 

you will have to post a lot more info did you change fuel filter on first unit
what year are they etc

 

sounds like you gutted your catalytic converters!!!

did it get A LOT LOUDER?

what mods, tune, pulley? anything else done to it? What year L?

 

can i replace that or i have to buy the whole complete setup

 

you may have other problems, I ran with out cats for a little bit with no problems, post up on www.nloc.net for more responses

 

isnt there a sensor there so the vehicle will malfunction a bit?

 

You can not replace the honeycone.
You have to buy new cataletic converters if you want the honycone back in there.
Don't buy the stock ford cats or you'll pay out the azz for them,,$$$$$

Get aftermarket cats on line ,,something like this.
