i have friends that use either one and im kind of stuck between the 2. i know RP costs more but is it really worth the extra money??

Not in my opinion. RP is ok. Not the best or the worst. Good marketing though. Personally I use Rotella. High zinc content, synthetic is rated #2 behind Amzoil...but at 1/2 the price. $18.00 for a 5 qt bottle at wally world. Even the 15/40 dino oil is superb. I use this oil in ALL of my vehicles (superbikes included)
