The cold air and a maf will be no real problem. The tune is done after the mod install, but before driving. The hand held tuners have several tunes included ( the prediter has three or four options) For advanced timing and a higher octaine tune, and a tune for a 4 lb pully. It can also data log. The tunes included are generic and for more advance mods consider a dyno tune, even with the 4# pulley.
At the dyno count on 1-2 hours. The tunner I go to is more but he checks the compression and plugs prior to the session. My tunner also moniters the fuel pressure and caught a fuel pressure drop in my truck, so The pumps were changed, would have sucked to discover the problem at the track.
good luck. once mods start they never stop.

the CAI can be installed with out a tune, the MAF will need to be adjusted in the tune to work properly.
tuning $$ varies from tuner to tuner, but with buying a handheld tuner and a dyno tune you should be looking at about $500'ish
prior to getting tuned make sure you have fresh plugs, new fuel filter, fresh oil change, and make sure all the fluids are topped off and you have at least 1/2 tank of fuel.
keep the ?'s coming, we want you to enjoy your truck as much as we enjoy ours!!!

Looking for a MAF ? ,Why would you buy a MAF ?, anyone that gives you this advice is wrong. You dont need a MAF and you will never need a MAF unless you add a 6lb pulley or near 500RWHP.
Get a cold air or just save the money and open up the bottom of your stock airbox. Search, there are many how to's in this forum.
i have a volant but found out its the most restrictive. cut two 2" holes in the bottom for more air and ran it to the front of the truck.

Reading your original post you say have NO professional tune, You do have a tune now that I see you have a 6lb pulley.
I wouldn't worry about a CAI and a MAF, I would go to my nearest shop ASAP and get it dynoed AF checked to make sure the tune is safe. Measure the pulley and verify what size it is. Should measure 9 inches across. You could be fine with your stock MAF and a 6. Just go get your tune checked.
