Idle Air Control

Where is the best place to get this part. Ford dealership is wanting almost $180 for it. Napa can't seem to find the right part number. Any ideas on where I can get this part a little less expensively?

Thanks!

Hey, Neighbor. I get all my parts from Rock Auto. I thought I needed a new compressor for my A/C. The dealer wanted 325 for a rebuilt unit. I got a new one for about 100 bucks less shipped. It's the best place I've found for parts. Always fast, too.

Thanks for the tip! I'm going to check it out right now.

BTW... how many miles did you have on your L when your A/C compressor failed?

Great Link Odin! I found the same part for almost a 100 bucks cheaper. I'm bookmarking that site.

It didn't fail. A relay went bad in my e-fan, and it caused the A/C to stop cooling. The dealership tech couldn't figure it out and changed a bunch of parts out in the A/C system. He never even checked the relays. I ended up figuring it out myself. Cost me $1000.00 bucks in parts and labor for a$35.00 fix.

You're welcome. I love that site. Rock Auto... Rocks!
