stock supercharger

stock supercharger

someone told me that its not safe to run a lower pulley and an upper pulley with the stock supercharger cus they said it would bend or crack the snout has anyone else had any problems runnin both upper and lower or do you just stick to one or the other

what???? many people change the pulleys, it's easier and more expensive to change the crank pulley and the smaller you go on the snout pulley the more prone to slippage it will be.

I'd leave the snout pulley alone, change the crank pulley and add an idler for more belt wrap on the snout

yup i planned on gettin an idler pulley before spring and when it warms up puttin that on i might do the GEN X COG belt system i really like that but well see its alot more for that setup lol

you will be fine.. I ran for a while a 2.7 upper a 6# lower and a idler brace with 0 issues.

i have 2.7 upper 6 lower with a 68.5 inch belt iirc (same belt as I had when it was stock upper 6 lower) with stock idlers/tensioners, no belt slip

nice, thanks guys i was just worried about the whole bendin or cracking the snout thanks for the info nice trucks
