Just had to get back into a Lightning. Found an 02' (stock, except for BORLA catback) with only 33K miles. Color: BLACK

How many of you are on your 2nd Lightning? Just curious to how many 2nd timers and maybe 3rd time owners are here. It is safe to say that I will appreciate this one 10X more.

Now I just wish I had saved all those bolt on parts from the 03' I had...

im not on my 2nd lightning, but my 2nd ford truck. i know driving my 97 scab really makes me appreciate the power my 99 lightning has. post some pics of your truck. congrats on getting another one too.

I also owned 2 lightnings a black 99 and a 01 silver I had fun with both but I miss the 01 more than ever I had alot of fun and even made some money with it racing. Might get one again some day.

I remember meeting you at reynolds GA back in APR/MAY of 04. I was getting a ported blower installed by Tommy in the Pits and than took it to dyno at the booth and Tommy tuned it. That ported blower was a best bang for buck mod for me. It added 23 HP SAE... I traded it in Jan 07 for an FX2 . I missed it ever since. Recently decided that I needed a replacement. You got any go-fast parts left for sale ?

I'm still on #1 and #2.I bought a black 95L new and a few years later bought a red 93L from a guy at work.I'm either going to end up with a white94 to complete the collection or go ahead and get a GenII.The GenII is a fun hot rod.

 

sold my silver 04. Quickly became remorsefull and about a year later I bought a 03 grey with a built block.

 

I feel like I've owned several Lightnings...

A stock one, and then one of varying levels of modification every year for almost 8 years.

Lightnngs are an addiction.I haven't done much except clean and admire the 95 for the last couple of years but I still love the black L.

 

I'm still on my first. Have had the truck for almost 6 years now. I don't ever want to give it up. I migt pick up a 2nd one 1 day. I really want a Sonic Blue one.
