Depends upon what modifications have been made to the engine. If it's stock, the standard fuel system is more than sufficient.

maybe it has a clogged fuel filter?

when you bought it did you change all the fluids and filters? or did you just jump in and go and now it's acting up you're worried

what is the truck doing? how did you reach the assumption it's not getting enough fuel

well im not much of a mechanic so i dont know a whole lot about it but when i give it full throttle it cuts out and falls on its face but if i ease into it its fine... the trucks not stock either it has custom exhaust, suspension, cold air, smaller lower pully, and the diablo computer

This is a comon problem and is one of two things. Change your fuel filter first and see if the problem goes away. If not, then your problem is at the in-tank fuel pumps... one of the hoses has fallen off. If you are in there fixing this issue get new, aftermarket fuel pumps.

A canned tune coupled with several mods affecting the AF ratio isn't a great idea either. I would suggest finding a REPUTABLE tuner to have the truck custom tuned and dyno'd.

Check the spark plugs and wires also.. same symptoms were happening in my friends car. We changed out the plugs and wires acceleration was like driving a new vehicle.

I had the same sounding problem and it was a coil pack. under wot the truck would start to rev and pull strong then stumble, still pulling but not as it should have.

No detonation?

Wires? No such monster on the L since it's got the COPs.
