Exhaust...
Exhaust...
So, i am going to create my own exhaust system and I'm looking for suggestions. I know that I can do a search and find out bits and pieces of info, but what I'm really looking for is what you would say the best header back system is. I have access to a mandrel bender and a tig machine so I could save myself a ton of money by just buying the high flow cats and mufflers from bassani, borla, etc. and building my own system. What I want to know is:
What is the best high flow cat 3" in 3" out?
What is the best muffler 3" in 3" out?
Are their variences in x-pipes, or are they all the same?
My truck will eventually be a built monster (hence the 3" piping) but right now I want it to sound good. It could either be from one manufacturer or it could be a mixed set-up. I just want good opinions.
Thanks,
Kurt

Borla mufflers are nice quite currenyly I have kooks LT's 17/8 primaries, 3 in collectors, H pipe and 2 borla shorty mufflers, it's a bit loud but not extreemly loud.

I would go with the cannon 3" system. lifetime warranty, free shipping, free paypal and it is top quality.Sold by dmr or develop mental racing. I dont know if Dbl G is a member here or not but he sells it and is a stand up guy. check it out. I have no stake at all in it just telling you my opinion on the best 3" exhaust.
