2001 lightning wind noise

Can anyone tell me how to reduce the wind noise in the cab on the drivers side of my 2001 lightning? I love the truck but it sounds like a gale is blowing thru my truck. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

I've wondered the same thing on my 03'. I bought an amp and speakers and I can't hear it anymore, but if there is an easy fix I'd like to know what it is.

if you guys pull on the door, does it quiet it down or stop? my 97 scab does it, but if i pull on the door it stops. so i think mine is the door seal (at least i hope) i havent gotten around to fixing it yet...or even really looking to see if the seal is really the problem. i just turn my radio up, lol.

It seems to be just behind the driver. Can't tell if it is lower or at waist level.

The door seal in my truck looks brand new and it has always done this since I've owned it. On the freeway it sounds like I'm driving through the drying part of a drive through car wash. I also turn up the stereo but did all the F-150's do this or did the person applying the door sear at the factory miss the mark on my truck?

Get hedders/mids/catback and you won't notice the "wind" noise!

Check your upper windshield rubber. Mine was coming loose, and it sounded like the noise was coming from behind me.
