Shuttering in the rear from start? Help!

When in 1st, rolling or stopped, turning left, right, or driving straight the rear axle shutters like a wheel hop but the power applied is 50 to 70%, but not enough for the wheels to break loose too wheel hop. Just started, by the way its 60 degrees outside and the tires are not warmed up to try to grab to wheel hop, or does it matter? I searched but no success, could have over looked the answer in the search.

P.S. I power stalled it and it does it just before the tires break loose to light them up. Is this actually a wheel hop, never noticed it before except when I'm really spinning them and they are trying to bite, but never from the start with partial throttle.

Thanks...
Tim

Sounds to me like the clutches in the rear end are the culprit.

Have you serviced the rear end ? If so, did you add the friction modifier to the gear lube ?

Been busy just got back on the forum and ...Thanks for the suggestions, yes the fluid in the third member was changed 4k ago it has 53k on it now, two modifiers were added with it. Just seems strange.
