Killer Chiller

Well I decided to get the killer chiller and try it on my truck. It makes such a big difference in E.T. when I pack my IC reservoir with ice that I decided to get this mod.

Has anyone got any new thoughts, concerns, or experiences with this system now that it has been around for a few years ?

I have been following post on it and similar systems for a couple of years now. One concern was that the chilled coolant passing through the intercooler would cause it to sweat and drop water into the intake galley and cause a miss. Todd, a friend who has a similar system ran into this problem but we think it was because the water sweat was mixing with oil from the PCV and this mixture was causing a miss under load. Since I removed the PCV I don’t expect this problem. My other concern was getting water on the track. I will work on this when I install the system. I will not remove my heat exchanger but I will block off airflow. I might experiment with bypassing it also. Our trucks do heat soak fast, so I hope this system helps.
