lightning bypass valve

New to the site and have a question. I,m putting a 2002 lightning motor in a mustang. I will be running aftermarket injection so my question is, what do i do with the boost dump valve. I wont be running any of it's factory controls. It's got two vacume ports on it, one coming straight from the upper plenum and the other i believe goes to the electronic part of the system. It wasn't hooked up when i got the motor. Can i just cap it off or does it still need to be hooked up somewhere. I still want it to function so there wont be any damage if i lift off the throttle to fast. Thanks for the help.

you need the top port to go to the upper plenum, and the bottom port on the valve needs a line that sees boost and vacuum.
