I want to install a B&M shifter in my L. My plan is to remove the column shift and buy column covers for a stick shift F-150 to cover the hole. I will also rework the center console with some sheet aluminum and eliminate the cup holders so the shifter will sit far enough back. I'm just wondering if anyone has done this yet, what shifter they used, and anything else that might be helpful.
