Ok. I need help putting on the heater hose with that gay plastic clip. Came off in 2 seconds but can't get it back on for ****. Please put me out of my misery and tell me how to get that back on. I need to drive my truck to work tomorrow morning at 7AM. Thanks in advance.

other than turning it and make sure the ears are pushed in then push it together, unless I'm thinking of a different hose, can you post a pic?

 

Can't post a pic but it's the hose closer to the supercharger on the top, rear passenger side of the engine next to the pcv hose. I tried to install it with the clip on the metal piping and with the clip on the plastic part of the hose. Neither worked but which way is the right way? how much pressure before it clips? Thanks.
