In conclusion to yesterdays post on the spanking of a ZO6, the guy came into work and I said to him,"I think you got ripped off dude!!", and he says, "I would of had you if I didn't spin off the line for fifty feet". I told him that he needs to go to the track and practice a little and then come back to see me. He was real cool about his loss and is coming to a T&T session with me one day to try his luck. When he got into work everybody was giving *****. I was kind of hubbled at the fact of his disappointment. Yeah, I know, don't be like that it will get you know where. I didn't say anything else to him and we went on through the day with no problems. At the end of work he just eased out of the parking lot and gave me a wave. Kind of a intersting ending to a adrenaline pumping start.

He can practice until Hell freezes over but until he gets some good tires he ain't never gonna win. All those vettes have lousy traction with stock tires.
I can hole shotem at the track by as much as .15 in 60'.

While it's true non Z06 Vettes have crap tires, affectionately known as runcraps, this is't the case with the Z06. Z06's have Goodyear Supercar F1 tires that are a HUGE improvement over the runflats. If you are taking Z06's off the line, it's because of their lack of skill, or the L's 450+lb ft of torque , not tires.
