Mine's a Slim-Top. Got a deal on it because someone else had ordered it, had it painted the right color, and then backed out. Looks nice and works well, but after 16 months some of the seams are starting to spread, so I don't think it's going to have the best durability.

I have the *******'s X2000.It has a non-drilling clamp-on hinge and the carpeting matches the Bedrug. It's pricey at $950 but I like the fit and finish of it so far.

Does that lid cover the factory bedrail protectors. I want a lid that will cover that. How is the fit and finish on it.

We use a Snuglid and love it. It is available with carpet on the underside or not. It has locks. There is also a clamp on system that can be gotten with this cover as well. It also covers the bed rails and looks good. We liked it so much that after we spun the truck a year and it got damaged we bought another one just like it.

I've got the A.R.E. It covers the rails. The thing I like the best is that it matches the lines of the Ford hood. They have different styles for different truck manufacturers so that it blends in with the lines of the truck. I got the lid, carpet on the underside, and bedliner for under $1,000. The only thing I don't like is that it's a little heavy to remove. When my wife helps me she has a hard time with the weight. With 2 guys it would be easy. Tom

I have the ARE with the spoiler, battery powered light and carpeting. The light is almost useless, but everything else is "top notch". The paint matching was perfect and the ARE carries a good warranty. My total cost was around $1,100.00.

Retrax! $900. It partially covers the siderails.

www.rolltopcover.com Hard cover that rolls up.

If you want a hard cover but want to be able to haul stuff, its really the only option I've found.

Pgio, ******** make the best tonneau covers money can buy. I've had mine for a couple months now and it is great. There are no holes drilled in the bed, and you can take it on and off in two seconds. I've had to move a couch to my moms house and I took the tonneau right off to put the couch in. It is also %100 water proof! The seal is very strong and doesn't let any moisture through it. They also have a new lock system. Chim Chim put up the link when I had the tonneau installed. If I were you I would buy this tonneau if you want excellant quality.

I've got an Astro hard cover on my '00. Carpeted on the underside to match the bedrug and installed ~$620.

Lightning Boy,

How much was the Snuglid with and without carpeting? Does Snuglid sell the lid in colors or do you have to get the lid painted yourself? If they do offer it in colors, how did the black on the lid match your black L? How hard is it to remove the lid in case you have to haul something that won't fit under the lid?
