Hello all..

Just currious.. Has anyone's Lightning been stolen or totaled.. and if so.. what did the insurance company give you for it ?

Blue Book ? N.A.D.A ? Market Price ?

My guess would probably be LESS than you owe. If you own your truck outright, than the figure would be LESS than you think it's worth.

Hello all..

I just got a rude surprise the other day when I was looking in the Auto trader.. I see people selling L's for so cheap.. it just stinks the value went down so quickly.. but when you look up the Kelly Blue Book and the NADA price.. it is still valued high.. I guess it only matters what dealers and the public are willing to pay..

I was unfortunate enough to have my 2000 L totaled this last March. The truck was 7 months old and had ~7k miles on it. The amount I recieved from my insurance co. was $32900
