computer limits L's performance till 1500 miles?

computer limits L's performance till 1500 miles?
I saw this post today on SVTOA where they said the computer in the L will hold back performance till 1500 miles, Fords' idea of the break in period. Is this true? My '01 has 1300 miles, but I have no comparison whether it feels sluggish or not.

This is not true, Ford PCMs to do not store milage. There is no factory break in period in the PCM.
