Clonetek,

Did you get your replacement LED assembly yet???

Still no sign of mine. I am thinking of some replacement bulbs might be the ticket.

havent recieved my free light yet.. he said it would be a couple of weeks. i dont know if he was meaning a couple of weeks till i get it, or a couple of weeks till he sends it off..
either way, it's free.. free stuff always takes forever.

it's gonna be a b!tch replacing those LED's.. lots of de-soldering & re-soldering.
plus, how do you break into the lens case?

with a little bit of work, you may be able to wire the lights to go back and forth like that knight rider car..

maybe we need to find out the manufactures of the lens & see if they have any other products that will fit in the same mounting space?

Another twist on the burnt out LED's

Brooks,

I went to get my VA emissions and State inspection today....

Good news: Emissions are dead good!! With chip, filter, pulley and all other mods...

Bad News: They can't pass the state inspection because of the darn Pro-Sport LED's being out. VA Law states if more than 50% of the LEDS are out in a single assembly..FAIL...I suggested unplugging it....Unfortunately, the other part of VA law states that any attachment that has a light assembly must be operational....AAAHHHHHHHHh

Anyway, the guy is a friend of mine, so I got no reject sticker. I guess I gotta fix the assembly OR remove the lid to pass...Hey..I got till the end of July

I would hate to remove the lid BEFORE going to the F150 online drag day at VMP.....

I am going to try to contact Innovation again today and see what the scoop is on the replacement LED assemblies...

I'll keep you updated

Cool

Hi fellas,

I hope you don't mind if I jump in on this thread. I have done alot of web searching for a Just model JS-18 LED assembly. I wouldn't mind having a spare one or two on stand by. I have come up 'goose-eggs' so far. If I find a vendor, I'll pass it along.

Brian,

Instead of removing the lid, do you think you could get by with just removing the assembly from the cut-out? Temporarily, of course.

Later,
Jake...

wow, thats really strict..
idea: pull bedcover off, go get it inspected, go home and put cover back on..
kinda sucks to have to do that, but untill you have the new unit, you are screwed.

havent gotten my new brake light yet.. i'll give them a call right now.

baby jake: was that the number on the brake light? i didnt even look at mine when it fell out.

okay.. just called them & the manager was out till tomorrow.
left a message for them to call me back ASAP.
