Calling WHAT04
I was checking out your pics on the Zing and wanted to ask you about the drivers seat seat-bar. Did you leave it angled out a bit ?
If so, was there any problem putting the cover back on ? Are you still happy with the 14568?
I grew up in Sarnia and one of my best friends lived in Kitchener. I have not been back to Canada in about 12 years since moving to Miami, Fl. The love of warm weather and windsurfing inspired my move South.
Thanks.

Hey Surfdog,
You certainly wouldn't recognize the area anymore. Cambridge is one of the fastest growing areas around. If you have to live in the Great White North, this isn't the worst place to be.
Regarding the seat modification, I'm assuming you're talking about the seat bottom.
The wire shown is originally straight up and down. I actually bent it a bit more vertical before wrapping it and recovering. This is a must do if you don't want the wire to cut through the foam. As far as the cover going back on, you can't tell anything was changed. But you can't feel the bar pushing into your leg, and there is no cutting going on that I can tell. I'm pushing 300 lbs. so the seat sees a work out.
See https://www.f150online.com/f150board...ML/010405.html for the "How To".
While the 14568 Magnaflow makes more noise than stock, I think I would go with the 14468 if I were to do it again. From what I hear, it is a bit louder. Quality mufflers though.
Thanks for the interest.

WHAT04,
Thank you.
Yes, I was referring to the seat mod. and your bar bent a bit. I am 210 lbs and notice the bar as well.
I will try your procedure this weekend, but have a feeling that it will take me longer than the 1.5 hours it took you.
I was under the impression that the 14568 was louder than the 14468-Glad I asked.
