Lightbulb JDM's "Warm Weather" program "Just keeps getting Better and Better"!!!

ANOTHER Personal BEST ET in hot weather!!!
This is the 3rd time I have raced with Jim's off the shelf New "Warm weather" program. It had dropped me .3 tenths and gave me 3 mph in the 1/4 until Saturdays "Rain-Delayed" FFW (Gainesville) .
Where I made 3 qualifing passes (Before more RAIN and subsequent cancellation- Split the purse) of Fast Ford-Quick Ford and Street Ford Bracket classes.

The First run: 12.68 @ 107.41 mph. w/ 1.74 60 ft and 8.08 1/8.

Second run: 12.72 @ 106.87 mph w/ 1.78 60 ft and 8.10 1/8.

Third run: 12.75 @ 106.77 mph w/ 1.80 60ft and 8.11 1/8.
Note: Temp. 89 degrees Humidity 86% and Baro. 29.88

This might not sound too segnificant to some but let me state that ALL LAST YEAR in Fla's high temps and humidity I could only manage a best of 13.17 @ 104.78 mph!!!!
Doing the math- JDM's program netted me a gain of .49 tenths and 3 mph "Now that's what I call "Bringing Home the Bacon"

Now the only thing left to do is?????????
"TEST THE NEWLY CALIBRATED "Warm Weather" program, I just got from the UPS man today.he,he,he.
Thanks JIM!!!!

Oh! One last note: These runs were done "With the help from FORD'S SVT Division's "Water Injection System" (patent pending)-leaking about a 1/4" a run!!!(STILL WAITING-SVT!!), and a 1/2 clogged I/C unit with teflon scrapeings off the blower blades.

Dan

Looks like I'm either gonna have to spring for a new 2001 and/or make another trip to New Jersey for more mods so I can keep up with you guys. Great times in that kind of weather all of you guys!

I was wondering what all you MODS are to achieve those times? Can you also tell me why the warm weather program is so different? are you just running slightly leaner?
I am curious to see you list of modifications. Thank you

BTW
I dont post much, but read just about everything. Do you know when the JDM pulleys will be FINALLY delivered? Thanks

Cool

Dan,

I know what you mean. I've been running Jim's chip since it warmed up here in Florida and let me tell you.....it rocks.

Last Wednesday at Moroso I ran a best of 12.57 @108.23 mph. It was done right after the track was dried from rain (96% humidity) with the barometer @30.03 and 80deg F.

I wish I could take the truck to him to have it "tuned", but it's just too far away.

Just think what we'll get when the weather cools down.

Tim

Tim,
I've been thinkig about the very same question. Wish I could go up to N.J. and have Jim tune my L, also.
Maybe I have the solution.
Let's have "ALL" the Lightnings, running JDM programs, in Fla., "CHIP" in and, SEND JIM A ROUND TRIP PLANE TICKET TO FLA. We could pick a "NEUTRAL" Drag Strip-Let's say Orlando Speed World (center of State) and we could make a Day out of it?
How does that sound?
Tim????

Spiro, Yep this time last year we WERE sitting across the table from one another. He,he.
I am STILL NOT BITING on the NOS, though.
You have "BIGGER CAHONIES(sp)" then me, Bro!!
Great times on the GO-GO Juice, By the way.
I can't wait till my I/C is replaced with the "Real Fix" and a "NEW BLOWER" to see if I can go any faster, in this heat. he,he.
I, too, want to see what these "warm Weather" programs do when the weather cools down.

Tim-send me an e-mail DWRella@webtv.net
I want to speak at you.
Ivanhoe_Farms- No, anymore I only do FFW and NMRA events in Fla.
Question? How come I see posts from Texas and Va. from you? Can't you make up your mind on where to settle down?? J/K

SILVER00L-Actually I am running BONE-STOCK-NO CHIP just a filter. N-O-T!! I could tell you then I'd have to kill you!! J/K . After trying just about EVERY mod produced since 1999 on my 99L let me list "What I don't have", Okay?
I don't have: Headers( took them off) Nitrous, OEM Fan, OEM-Lower Pulley, OEM Trans cooler, OEM Trans Pan, OEM Air Filter, OEM Mass Air Sensor and boot, OEM Throttle Body, etc.

Dan

Thnaks

OK..So does this mean you have:

-90 mm meter
-single bore TB
-upper pulley
-PSP lower pulley
-aftermarket convertor
-air kit

Did I miss anything else? are you running 3.73's or 4.10's in your 99?

Thank you

Its just a guess Silver00L, but my money is on 1RedDevil still having his OEM "upper" pulley...as in keep your pulley changes on the "down low" if you know what i mean. later...

Red Devil,

The farm is in Texas, but I am consulting in DC, So I get to participate in events in both areas. The event in Texas is the FFW at Ennis --- any chance you will be there??

My chip is at JDM right now getting his newest 2001 warm weather program. I can't wait with his older program and a filter I was running 13.11 at 104MPH. Now with his new program and the electric fan I am betting on some 12's
